Rominar was Established in 1973, A family run business which started out as a specialist cleaning company, with natural progression and a lot of hard work, we became a respected all round stone restoration company, working on Grade I and II listed building, resulting in us becoming part of the Stone Federation.
Operating for over 50 years, completing our first job on the Embankment upon the River Thames in 1973. Since then, we have been working to restore, renovate and conserve many buildings including Listed buildings in London and the Surrounding suburbs. Our aim is to please our customers by ensuring all our employees are trained, skilled and experienced in carrying out the works necessary. Specialising in stone repairs, stucco repairs, DOFF and TORC cleaning. We recently completed the Mansion House in Leybourne which we worked under Taylor Wimpey who won an award for The Pride in the Job Quality Award.

We recently had the front of our Victorian terrace in East Dulwich restored by Rominar Limited, and we couldn’t be happier with the results.
When we purchased the property in late summer 2025, the front was covered in a thick, white-painted render that completely detracted from the character of the house. Jamie and his team undertook the painstaking job of removing the render over the course of the weeks, carefully restoring the original yellow London stock bricks beneath.
The quality of their workmanship is outstanding. They not only removed the render but also replaced damaged bricks, repaired and repointed the mortar, and finished everything to an exceptionally high standard. The transformation is incredible and has truly brought the property back to life.
Beyond the craftsmanship, what really stood out was their professionalism and respectfulness. They were punctual every day, worked long hours, and kept the site impeccably clean—tidying not just our property, but also the neighbours’ areas and surrounding footpaths daily. They were consistently considerate of noise and disruption, which was greatly appreciated by both us and our neighbours.
Jamie and his team were a pleasure to have around—polite, conscientious, and clearly committed to doing a fantastic job.
